Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers nice rooms and good breakfast but lacks important finishing touches for a perfect stay. Rooms had minor issues like cracks in the walls and limited storage space. The walkway outside could compromise privacy in certain rooms.
When I arrived at the hotel, the rooms were well above the expected quality, clean, and well-kept. However, it was freezing as all the radiators had been turned off, and my room was right at the top of the stairs next to a banging fire door. The service was genuinely helpful and friendly, especially during the evening meal in the restaurant. The location, although a bit rural and challenging to access on dark evenings, had fantastic views and lovely lighting at night. The dining experience offered a good choice of meals, including unique breakfast options, but was not without flaws like cluttered tables with used dishes. Overall, a mix of positive and negative experiences.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were nice, but not spotless, with some cobwebs present. The service was excellent, yet there were some noise issues with room changes. The location was great for those seeking a remote setting but would require driving everywhere. The dining experience had its ups and downs. Overall, the hotel offered a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel is just off the main roads and, despite being a bit cold and unwelcoming, my stay was amazing. I can't wait to visit again, especially when the new outdoor jacuzzi is built.
